Another Australian arrested on drug charges

You would think that Australians would have learnt their lesson not to touch drugs in Bali or Indonesia.

Another Australian has been arrested for carrying five grams of cannabis, which he now faces prison time of up to 10 years.

The arrested man was Jason Scott McIntyre, 33 years old from the Northern Territory.

What sort of country gives 10 years for 5 grams of cannabis?

Especially since it’s only for personal use.

Ten years does seem a little extreme for that amount but I’m sure it’s just the governments way of trying to clamp down and hopefully prevent future drug use.

This was not as straight forward as it appeared in the media. It was a set up and bribes had to be paid all the way through. Wouldn’t recommend anyone travel to Bali and be treated like this. Thank God he is home safe and able to get on with his life
